  flat bread
  • 2 Packets of yeast
  • 50ml sugar
  • 1.6kg cake flour
  • 30ml salt
  • 50ml oil
  • 1 litre warm water
METHOD
  • Pre-heat oven to 180°C
  • Put flour, sugar and salt in bowl
  • Combine water and oil
  • Add water mixture to dry ingredients to form a soft dough
  • Knead for about 10 minutes
  • Rest for 30 min in greased dish and cover with plastic wrap
  • Knock back and divide dough into 30 balls
  • Roll until a disk form or into sheets and cut shapes
  • Place on floured baking tray
  • Rest 30 minutes
  • Bake at 180°C for 5 minutes
  • Cool on cooling rack
Tip:
Can be packed and frozen pop into the oven to re-heat.
Serving suggestions:
Cut ½ open and fill like a pita or roll dough thinner to make a tortilla wrap.
Can be grilled and served with rouille or a bread for mussels in a broth
